Meet Anne

Anne Lamers

I’ve loved horses for as long as I can remember. There’s something incredible about being best friends with a thousand-pound animal that sparks a passion that isn’t easy to describe – but if you are besties with an equine, you know what I mean. These beautiful, strong, sensitive creatures have so much to teach us… it has become my passion to share this with you. When you connect with a horse, a whole new world will open up for you.

We have five horses on our small farm and our sixth is spending his retirement days as a companion horse, not far from home. Our oldest is 28 this year, and the youngest just turned two years old! I have owned horses and been riding for about 25 years now.

I am a certified Level 1 English riding coach and Level 2 western riding coach. I certified with the CHA (Certified Horsemanship Association) in 2018 and have been teaching beginner riders ever since.

I am a certified Equine Assisted Learning facilitator with Cartier Farms, who are the developers of the award winning, research based Equine Assisted Learning Building Block Certification Program, also completed in 2018.

I love sharing my passion for all things equine with others and hope you will join me on some of my adventures!

Women's Workshop

This past weekend I had the privilege of attending the Women's Equine Empowerment program. My husband surprised myself, my sisters and my daughter in law with this incredible day. I don't even know where to start with what I'd like to say. The location was so beautiful and peaceful, Anne (and her team) and Emma were kind and patient and clear with instructions. The other ladies participating were all so happy to be there and to be a part of the experience. And, the horses! Wow, so beautiful and smart. I am not typically an outspoken person, nor do I have a ton of confidence. The exercises with the horses and the one on one photo shoot brought me out of my shell without feeling like I was forced out. It felt like a naturally safe space to just enjoy the moment. Thank you Anne and Emma. Will remember this for years.

What They're Saying

Anne Lamers' program goes above and beyond to meet a variety of needs in the human population. She clearly demonstrates how horses are valuable co-teachers for connection, relationships, leadership, accepting and challenging boundaries, and trusting your instincts and the instincts of others. The work she is doing is valuable and would be an asset to anyone wanting to learn more about themselves and how to communicate with others.
